13 Nov, Mon - Day 4 of Rockies, Back to Vancouver
Day 4 of Rockies
Left Revelstoke in the morning and made our way back to Vancouver. The journey back was fantastic as we were experiencing all seasons within a mere distance of 400km apart.
First the weather was good. We finally got to take good shots of how the view was supposed to look like on the Rockies Trail (it was raining when we first came).
Then it became winter for only a short distance. Then warm and sunny weather.
We stopped for a break for those people who chose to have lunch provision in their tour package. Then we continued on our journey. Then it was back to winter wonderland.
Then finally, light again. There was snow one moment, rain another and suddenly bright sunshine out of nowhere. Marvelled at Mother Earth's nature.
On the way back, the tour group played bingo to win a present. Ellince won a notebook as the guide choose a bingo ball which had the same number as lince's seat number. I won a keychain for answering the guide's question. He asked what does kamloop meant(i hope the spelling is correct, not sure if it is Camloop instead), and i knew the answer - where the river meets. I do listen to what the tour guide said, instead spending time to study my entrepreneur.
And we were lucky too. Another tour group who took a different package from us were struck as there was a huge snow storm. They had to take a longer route which would take them 12 hours to arrive in Vancouver. Then it was a mad rush to get back home to Victoria.
Going to the Rockies has been a very fun, exciting, beautiful experience. Played snow for so long, saw so many beautiful scenes, had the great company of my friends, eat so much bread (more than 6 meals). Awesome!
