17 Dec, Sunday - Arrival in San Fransciso

Sans Francisco Part 1
We started our tour in the morning by driving down to San Francisco across the Bay Bridge. The bridge has 2 sections. The first section connects Oakland to Angel island, the second section connects Angel island to San francisco. It is also one of the busiest bridge in USA and it has two levels, one level each for cars travelling in each direction. Just like a 2 storey carpark, just that it is in a form of a bridge. I find huge bridges fascinating as they are able to carry so much traffic and the sheer amount of effort in building these bridges.

First stop in San francisco was at Chinatown for breakfast. However, Becky and I took the time to walk around the business district and Chinatown to take photos. Hmm.. We still have some food which we raided from one of the buffets earlier. I won't explain this food issue here, its just too gross and this will remain a secret between me and becky. haha.. So we just kept snapping photos throughout the little walk. All those tall buildings, the flags and the road names.
Chinatown is always very distinct. The furnishing and decoration of the area is so obvious.
We were surprised to see them selling mooncakes. The Mooncake Festival was definitely over, so we speculated that the shopowner couldn't sell them and have been keeping them all the time.
After breakfast, we were taken to Lombard Street- San Francisco and America's crookedest street.
