18 Dec, Monday - Monterey Bay, Pebble Golf Course

Today, we bidded farewell to San Francisco and made our way back to LA. It is going to be a long trip on the coach. I am always so thankful that my laptop is charged with power so I can watch my anime on the coach. Been clearing off the shows that I downloaded in the past few months. On the drive back, we passed through Monterey Bay, a 17 mile drive and stopped to take in the beautiful coastal view of the Pacific ocean. The sight was stunning, fabulous, fanstastic. Words can't describe the view. I love the waves, the boundless sea, the blue blue sky, with the sound of crashing waves, the seagulls flying and the occassional calls of the sea lions in the distance. You can never get this in Singapore. There's just no ocean for us..
We also stopped to take photos at the Pebble Beach Golf Course. This is where the major golf tournaments such as AT&T and PGA tournaments which Tiger Woods, Phil Nicholson, VJ Singh plays in annually. The name of the golf course keep reminding me of my condo's name.. We took a walk in the golf course and came across some pictures that were framed up. The pictures were showing the vacation houses near the bay and golf course and the prices. It was really crazy, it was into millions of dollars. Becky and I joked that when we become rich, we will get a place here. Tha's provided we turn into big millionares..
Then we walked into their mini coffee shop and market and looked around. The view again was so good that I couldn't help taking pictures. I love the last picture, the sun glaring down at the sea, that bright light is really gorgeous..

The golf course looked so greeny and beautiful. We sat in the balcony of the building in the background of the 2nd picture and role played how the rich will act. Lol.. This place is very extravagant..
After that, we were back in the coach for a super super long drive, with a break in Keng Ridge Travel Center. We arrived back in our LA hotel at Holiday Inn around 6 plus finally after a more than 8 hours drive covering a distance of over 300 miles . It will be Disneyland tomorrow!
