Was sick of having bacon and sasuages hence I order bagels, pastry and apple juice on Sunday. And it was back to bacon, sasuages and pastry on Monday. Look at my messy table, too many wires, adaptors and food bags. We brought the food back to the room so that we can surf net a bit longer. Took a photo of the daily pass, we have to scratch the day and month and flash the card to the driver. The buses here are very bicycle friendly. You can put the bike. on a rack in front of the bus.

We went out today to look for accommodation. Found an advert on our school website and gave the landlord a call. He was nice and met us at Subway and fetch us to his place. At least we know how to get to his place. The house looks so small from the outside. But it was really big inside, as in a kitchen, living room, 2 rooms each on the first floor and basement. Paid for the deposit on the spot as the family was actually hong kongers who migrated. Will be staying with the family of 3 for the next few months. Rent is like $400. Anyway, they are asians so it will be quite easy to get along, same eating habits too.

Photos of the groceries near our future accommodation. Look at their ceral boxes, they have jumbo sizes. I want to eat rice krispies for breakfast! Look at the berries. They look really edible! I was so tempted to try, the fragrance was really like berries. I think they were edible.

Oh look at the chilies here. Super big. I think it is another type of chilies, like what burger king used in their jalapenos burgers. Oh I plucked some raspberries earlier and test it out on the bunnies in UVic.. Only 1 daring bunny tried them out. If there is this brown hare's corspe, then we were know what happen. But I got my retribution, the berries were squashed in the bag that Weixuan gave me for my birthday. And there are stains on it :(..... Sorry Weixuan! That was the punishment for being too playful.

Then went to school to withdraw money by visa from the teller. Must put the cash in the envelope and seal it to dump it into my account. Chey.. Thought there machine super high tech. In fact, the machine collected the envelope and someone will retrieve and count the money later. It's a very weird system here, just hope that the money is really into my bank a/c.

Went back to hostel to changed into beachwear. The weather was warm and we were going to a beach cum park, Cadboro-Gryo Park.

Relieving our childhood times. I love to play on the swing still!!! And it was fun! The breeze was nice and the view was beautiful. And the sand here smells super nice, like scallops. There was sea salt in it, so it looks super shiny too. Keep making us feel hungry, craving for some delicious seafood!

The message on the sand was Mel n Beck Victoria. Cute little house made by logs. Definitely not made by us. It was already there. The log at the bottom turned to charcoal!

Beautiful houses facing the sea. This beach is not really the pretty type. If you remember geography, the waves here are destructive waves, dragging the sand away. So it is similar to East Coast Park. But like I say, the view and weather makes it up. Shared a bagel to get a picnic feel. See the boats from afar. Nice life here, can enjoy boating. I was hoping to dig out scallops but all i get is seaweeds and more seaweeds. Dipping our feet into some cold water.

More nice photos. And more berries. So tempted to pluck and eat. Must resist the temptation, if not might end up in the hospital. Haha.. Long flight of stairs up the hill. We walked down to the beach, so we have to climb up.

The view from above was beautiful! There was a bench for us to sit down to enjoy the view. And this bench was in memory of someone.

Closed up view of the boats. Found an acorn. I didn't know acorn was so small. Think the cartoons by the squirrels or chipmunks always gave me the wrong impression that acorns are big. Tried to smash the acorn to see the inside. Hmm.. It's soft and does not smell nice. Maybe I got a not nice acorn. Nope.. This time, I wasn't tempted to try and taste it.

Went to Victoria Pepper's, a groceries store, to get tv dinner. We are surviving on microwave food during this period. Can't wait to shift in to start cooking real food! Saw a car which looks like its doors were made with wood. Took pictures with this cute graffiti. And also caught side of a squirrel. Fed the rabbits with strawberries we bought (not plucked from somewhere). The strawberry had a bit of mould. Lol.. Rabbits' murderers. At first 1 ate it, then another one saw it, then a third one joined. 3 greedy bunnies who wants the strawberries. Look at my meal. Is soft pork and beef patties. But it really tasted delicious!

Today was a great day, settled our accommodation and enjoyed the beach. I like it here!
