29 Aug (Tuesday) - Vancouver - Part 2

I had leftover dinner for lunch at Capilano Suspension Bridge. We made sandwiches before when went to Vancouver and finished them while walking around. We had Chinese dinner on Monday at Metropolis's food court and the portion was so huge that I packed into my empty lunch box. After that, we took the same bus number up to Grouse Mountain.
Took the sky train up and the view was beautiful. However, it would be much nicer if the sky wasn't so misty. At least, I am thankful that we went to the observation tower which had such nice weather and view at the same time. Going to Vancouver was more of a sight seeing trip. Followed the tourist attractions. Anyway, I didn't remember coming to Grouse Mountain when I was in primary 5. Seriously, I have no impression that I came to the Mountain. But I did have a vague memory of taking the sky train. Anyway Grouse Mountain was slightly disappointing. We wanted to take the chair lifts. In winter, the chair lifts are used to carry the skiers and their ski up the the mountain. We thought that the weather was bad so they had to cancel the ride. Then when we came back, Jolene also told us that she didn't sit on the chair lifts as they were repairing it. Made our ticket price not so worthwhile. Had to pay for adult pricing, there is no student price for Grouse Mountain, unlike Capilano Suspension Bridge.
Anyway, we went hiking up a certain track and also looked at the beautiful view. Camera couldn't capture the view as the weather was misty. But it felt as we will like in the celestial world. Good background with all the mist. Wesaw grizzly bear, lumberjack show which was super funny and interesting. Nearly walked down the mountain as we were hiking on another track (to see the forest eco system) and we turn a wrong path. Climbed back up again and went to their theatre to catch 2 short shows (half and hour for each). We spent a very long time in Grouse Mountain. Spent the whole morning in Capilano and stay till 4+ in Grouse Mountain. Actually we stayed there for a long time as we thought the chair lifts might just start when the sky cleared. The sky did clear but the chair lifts just weren't working.
So we went back to take the seabus and headed back down to Metropolis again. This time we took the sky train(MRT), so the travelling time was cut short by half as compared to Monday. The last picture in the collage is a scene taken from Zara. The shops are really big especially for the big brands. Zara as usual had so many people. The picture I have taken was a neater side. The other sides had clothes everywhere, it was more like a fish market. The mall closed at 9 and we made our way back to hostel.
