Spend some time rotting in the morning. Finally, no need to wake up to get breakfast, I can get breakfast anytime I like. Haha.. Actually, we ate the sandwich that we gotten yesterday from school. So we didn't prepare any breakfast.
Then we decided to go to Swan Lake. It didn't look far on the map, and it looks rather manageable to walk. So we walked along the Galloping Goose Trail - meant for cyclists, walkers and joggers. And on our way, we saw more blackberries trees or shrubs. Haha.. Read a newspaper article saying that this is the season to pluck and eat them. Actually, saw these shrubs a few days ago, but we didn't dare to try them for fear of ending up in the hospital.

So guess what, we finally tried it and we declared it to be edible. See I am still alive and no, I didn't get diarhhoea.

Look at the long road. And we have been fooled by the weather report. It said highest temperature was at 18 and lowest at 14. The sun was so hot that we could have wore tank tops. And I regretted not bringing a cap. At least my jacket has been useful in covering my head. We actually walked the whole circumference of the lake. Man... burning off calories we gained.
The lake wasn't beautiful. And there are no swans in it. Haha.. Lots of greenish stuff in the water, think those are the seeds of plants which flew into the lake. Looks like tiny islands too. We continued to walk or hike and we came to their Nature House. Is a small exhibition of animals. In the box there were a few snakes and they had shed their skins.
After that, we continue to walk and finally arrived back at the Galloping Goose Trail.

Oh yah.. We also found an apple tree. We think it is an apple tree. Managed to pluck one. Nope, we didn't try it. haha.. That apple is still in my bag.
Oh.. Went back to the groceries store to buy instant noodles and more seasonings..
