28 Dec - Thursday - Slack Day!

We decided to stay in the hostel today. This was because Charlene and Kelvin had planned to go Washington today and come back tomorrow. As there was only 1 set of keys, we agreed that Charlene should take her keys so as to access her room after she comes back from her trip tomorrow. Becky and I will spend the whole day out tomorrow and access the room in the late evening.

After 8 days of waking up at unearthly times (6am) everyday for the tour, it felt so good sleep till noon time. Spent the time watching anime and movie as my laptop was not able to connect to the internet. As usual, Becky being the nice person, has planned our itinery for the next few days in NY. We had also bought junk food (salsa & tostillos) the night before and the food was able to last us for the 2nd half of the day.

The picture shows the hostel room (3 beds) we are staying. Becky and I are sharing the lower deck of the bunk bed. We have to turn the heater as it is cold but the window is slightly open to allow some ventilation. I do not have a good impression of the bathroom as it has a smell in there. Maybe my nose is too sensitive.
