16 Sep, Sat - Golfing Day

Had a super fun day! I went golfing with becky, jolene and bee. I never tried this in Singapore! Bee was the pro here.. By the way, did I mention who B/Bee was? He is my landlord's son, B for short. Anyway, we went to try minature golf. And I paid the youth price, hmm.. was it 13 years and below. Yeah I think so.. Just $1 cheaper but the rest had a good laugh over it. Yeaah.. I know I looked young but I think the lady in the booth know that we were cheating my age. I mean 3 people paying adult price and only 1 "kid", what a weird combination.

Tried minature golf and it was fun. Just hit it till the ball get into the hole. Need to have good aim, and good strength to hit it. And when I mean good strength, I do not mean just hit it hard. When the ball is nearer to the hole, try to hit it with smaller strength. If not, the ball will just turn.

After minature golfing, we went to the golf range. Haha.. I love this one!! Why? Just hit the ball as hard as you like. The problem: Lousy aim. How to hit the ball if you cannot aim at it. Bee kept telling us to hold the club real tight when we swinged. He doesn't want an annoucement that goes like this, "Please stop hitting the balls. Someone has swinged a club into the field and he needs to pick it up." And he has to walk to the field to collect his club with everyone staring at him. lol..

After playing, I realised that I am a leftie in golf. I felt that I swinged better with my left hand. The clubs that Bee has are all for right handed but it doesn't really matter. Just played along.


I tried to swing real high. It was painful to the wrist when the club hit the ground and not at the ball. Golf is fun! But I probably will need to practise hard so as to play decently. heheh.. Doesn't really matter, it is expensive to golf in Singapore too..

So we went back home and play monopoly again. Lol.. The last time I played, I lost so miserably. This time, Jolene was the big loser and I was the big winner. Lol.. Got a colour set which was the 2 poorest properties in monopoly but I built hotels and it became a different story. This time, I learnt my lesson. When I trade, always ask for a high price. Jolene was just unlucky, keep landing into places that couldn't allow her to buy land and she kept landing into my hotels. haha..

so i being nice, offered to trade w her my properties... n what sincerity the gal showed... she offered me $50 for the railway which i paid $200! LOL... anyway guess she knew e figure was absurd too cos she upped her offer... to...$201!!! haha it was hilarious... anyway no surprise jolene went bankrupt cos me n mel sort of ganged up against her after all e sincerity she showed me during trading...]

Lol... This was really funny!!! Jolene just don't know how to trade. Haha.. She shouldn't have take accountancy.. Made such a lousy offer and ruin her reputation. Now, everytime we said $201, jo would know that we are refering to her. hahah
